Yes, that’s right. The government is trying to kill you, and they’re succeeding very nicely. To demonstrate how I came to this conclusion I must first break down how the government functions and how it affects society.
A government, as we learned in the prescribed American Government class, is a body of elected individuals granted authority to create and modify legislation. That’s the jest of it. The authority of elected officials comes from the people they represent. Authority is the ability to coerce people into doing your bidding. Authority can only exist with power, and power is typically manifested through the threat of force.
So basically if you live in a dictatorship, your leaders have authority based on the threat of force; through police, military, death squads, torture, etc. In a democracy, authority is derived from the will of the people; if the people no longer feel that their leaders represent them they are then free to replace them. A democracy can resemble a dictatorship in that it may grant power to the majority over the minority.
In the United States we have a constitutional republic, in which the elected leaders represent all people based within a range stated in a decree of granted rights. A constitution is a means to prevent oppression of the minority from the majority. This type of system came about during the founding of the United States because there was a faction that essentially wanted an anarchistic type of nation, and another that wanted a strong federal nation. A truce was formed and it was called the Great Compromise. State governments and the federal government both played a role and were safe guarded by checks and balances.
This type of system was nearly the best type of government you could have, it protected individual freedom and provided basic government services. However, soon after the Constitution was signed, those who sought to extort and dominate entered the political arena and began to undermine the rules that made this type of government work.
One critical alteration was the formation of a privately owned central bank. A battle of sorts was fought throughout the 1800’s and into the early 1900’s, the Federal Reserve banking system was the final result in 1913. This granted the power of financial manipulation of the United States to the richest people in the world.
The Civil War saw a drastic increase in federal power after it’s conclusion, it essentially transfered slave ownership from private individuals to the government.
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.“
Citizen: A native or naturalized member of a state or nation who owes allegiance to its government and is entitled to its protection.
It was all downhill from there.
Now the federal government had jurisdiction over everything and everyone. Then sprouted bureaus for everything from the Administration for Children and Families to the Bureau of Verification, Compliance, and Implementation. These agencies do not exist for the benefit of anyone who does not belong to the top tier of wealth holders. They exist to aid corporations in maximizing profits and to consolidate power in the hands of the elitists. Ever wonder why you’re eating sodium benzoate, HFCS, aspartame, bovine growth hormone, and drinking fluoride?
The military industrial complex is an excellent example of government/corporate collusion (hence fourth called ‘CorpGov’). A revolving door exists between government positions and corporate boardrooms. Haliburton and the Carlyle Group are two prime examples. A situation forms where destruction becomes very profitable. The destruction of the World Trade Center brought the largest insurance payout in history to Larry Silverstein. The consequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq created giant contracts for military suppliers. The turmoil in Iraq essentially rendered its oil fields inaccessible which provided a reason for the oil cartel to boost the price of oil, the oil companies are now reaping obscene profits.
It seems that in this brave new world the government has mutated into a corporate services organization. Everything is now a commodity, the air, the water, the land, your body, your mind, and your soul. The reaper doesn’t determine when it is your time based off of some metaphysical schematic of destiny, he uses a balance sheet.
